POLITICO App Reviews

Ive been refreshing content for several days now with little to no content updates. Plus, there doesnt appear to be any article reviews or commentary. Lame

Title pretty much says it all, app is horrible,

App is absolutely embarrassing. Whoever is involved with this should be fired and possibly removed from any contact with human beings whatsoever. This app doesnt update consistently and occasionally doesnt update at all. Constant restarts and re-loads are necessary to try to get the content to update, but this doesnt always even work. Currently the app on my phone is stuck with two day old news and I cant seem to do anything to update it.

What are you guys doing? The current version doesnt update content and has become virtually worthless! Not sure who is running the team or the qa but this is the worst update you guys have released. I keep waiting for an update that hasnt come!

This issue seems to have been around for quite some time, not sure why it is not being addressed. Deleting app data in settings does not help, actually deleting the app entirely and re-installing doesnt help, still loads three day old articles.

Am running iOS 10 on an iPhone 7 plus and the latest version of this app refuses to update. You matter what I try Im presenting two day old stories. Can someone fix this as I see others have the same problem?

Might as well subscribe to print for how well this updates. Never happens automatically. Never. And 1/2 the time not manually either. Closing app and relaunching doesnt work anymore either. They must have made a business decision that online and print are more important than mobile.

App doesnt update at all - I gave up and deleted it. Was my favorite app for a long time. Was *****. Now *.

Unlike the version of the app that I used for quite some time this latest version will not update the articles either automatically or manually. Worthless as is.

Currently the front page is stuck on the news of four days ago. Really annoying.

I have been frustrated with the updating for a while but could get it to go through after repeated refreshing, however, with the new update, continued refreshing no longer gets me updated. Same news from several days ago. No more politico until I see an update, cant sit around all day updating.... update.

This App use to be very, very good. Since the "shake up" nothing is good about this App anymore...stale or late articles, updating is woefully slow and even then the updates are just recycled articles... Im going to other sources for my political news.... You guys blew it....in an election year to boot!!!

I am finally deleting it after 2 years of anger management. I cant take it anymore. While most of the complaints focus on the updating (that is a BIG problem) I kept assuming from the day I downloaded that they would improve it like so many other apps. Wrong! Im a politics junky and like Politico for their journalism. But the frustration of using their app surpasses my frustration with the politicians.

Not as far ahead as say CNN but it gets the job done with better content.

I like the content from Politico, but the app is too buggy. It wont update regularly and the manual update doesnt work.

Great App if youre further left than Hilary. They make Fox News look far and balanced.

I like Politico, too bad the iPad app has too pare down what the website offers as far as content.

Before it went to ios10. Too in your face now- espially the huge font When I tap into the article and no settings to adjust it as there once was.

Such a stunning contrast between the reporting and how terribly this app runs. Briefly: one issue- you get an exciting alert, click on it and then the app is frozen (and its always frozen.) Common Politico coders, get it together.

Could be a great app if it mimicked its website. App shows news thats five days old despite being forced to refresh. Embarrassing for such a fine news outlet
