Love the content. Only way yo read it is on computer. Doesnt update ir refresh. I keep getting content that is days old. Surely you can do better. Every other app does.

Worst app ever, low stars and biased like I have ever seen

This app works great. No issues. I use it every day.

Now theres a new problem- when I swipe left to read the next story the panels move in a jerky way. I may only get half a panel on the screen or it may completely skip a story.

App will skip up to 5 articles when reading in sequential order. Cannot read articles without going back to the full list.

The star to save is back for some articles but many others have a large red banner that covers it.

This app freezes and fails to update content regularly.

Doesnt update. What Politico was thinking when they released this app is beyond me. Dont download this.

Could they please hire someone to fix their update mechanism? It hasnt been working in a loooooong time. The only news app that is having issues presenting current content. Always shows me week-old stuff upon opening it and fails / hangs on refresh. Embarrassing.

The latest update would not be an improvement over the previous version even if it worked. But it doesnt, the app keeps crashing and even if it does not crash, it does not refresh content. How difficult can this be?

Makes you wonder if the publishers of this app ever actually use it. Takes forever to refresh. Forever meaning past the attention span of a normal mobile user. My usual use is to call up the app, drag to refresh, watch the spinning ball, wait, wait, then switch to another app that actually has current news. If you want yesterdays news today this is the app for you. Ive finally deleted it from all my devices. I could wait no longer.

On 4/27, shows stories from 4/26. On 4/26, shows stories from 4/25. Etc. Better off calling up site in browser

I miss a working Politico app. Why doesnt the app update to show the latest stories?

Updating my review and downgrading the app further. The apps continued inability to display current content is a deal breaker. Several releases have been pushed that fail to even remotely address the issue. QA testing does not seem to be a priority. I wouldnt waste your time with this app.

Every article I open it asks me to update to the new version. I click to download the update from the App Store and the button just says "open".

Fails to update..... How about getting the old version back until you fix this one??

That such a good editorial group could have such a dysfunctional app is more than sad. Its broken on so many levels that its not worth getting into. For those of you who see that it doesnt update, the work around is to remove the app from the background and then relaunch it. It will be updated - in its own ridiculously slow way - to reflect the current content.

Doesnt update stories automatically, and I have to pull down to refresh 3 or 4 times to get it to reload pages, and then it freezes when Im trying to read it. It also seems to freeze up when reading an article if you lose a data signal. This is so annoying when Im trying to read on the Metro and it freezes every time I try to scroll through a single article in between stations.
